ABOUT ME

I am a recent journalism graduate from the University of Lincoln aiming to now put the theory into practice! Keeping my hand in as a freelance online contributor I am seeking opportunities in my chosen specialism - sport.

I'm often asked where my interest in journalism started. I always respond by telling people that I was 'bitten by the bug' following my first ever live media appearance at the tender age of 2 years old. An edited clip of my appearance, with my parents, on This Morning (with Richard and Judy) on the 21st March 2001 can be found from this link (subject to copyright approval). It goes without saying that I will forever be grateful to the doctors and nurses at both the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital. Whilst in the end, I did not require a bone marrow transplant, my thanks again to the Anthony Nolan Trust who supported me in my search.

Since sixth form college, I have been regularly blogging on a wide range of topics.
